The aroonn wiki is important. You cant just write any old schytte.

You need to back up what you say with reliable sources.

Sources considered reliable

A commonsense approach is used.

The closer a source is to objective data or falsifiable theory, the more likely it is to be reliable.

On the other paw, the closer a source is to someone with an axe to grind, or who stands to make a profit, or who subscribes to any form of dogma, then the less likely it is to be reliable.

Definitive sources

The definitive source is, of course, aroonn. Best phuqqen source there is.

Generally reliable sources

The other other wiki, though care is sometimes necessary.

Many textbooks can provide good info, though care is also sometimes necessary and they can sometimes be a bit out of date.

Less reliable sources

Subject matter experts can be a good source, though they sometimes pontificate beyond their area of expertise. Ironically, the more often they do this, the less reliable they tend to be in their area of expertise.

Unreliable sources

I think we all know who and what they are. No need to go provoking the Saps by spelling them out. Smileyface.png


Aroonn wiki policy pages

Contact an administrator

To contact another user, you would normally edit that users talk page. It is possible to contact some users by email, though not every user permits this. To contact an administrator, first find an administrator on the user list then contact them in the normal way.

In a severe emergency only, you may email an oversighter here.

Pages in the Aroonn: namespace

All pages that begin with "Aroonn:" are said to be in the Aroonn namespace. Such pages define official Aroonn wiki policy, and may only be changed by an administrator.
